Member of Early Childhood Intervention Association NSW Heather Craven has just celebrated 30 years as a practising Speech Pathologist, having worked in private practice, government and non government agencies both in the UK and Australia. Heather is a participant of the Professional Self Regulation programme of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia, which demonstrates her interest and belief in maintaining up to date knowledge of Speech Pathology research and practice.
Heather brings to her practice a wealth of experience in early childhood intervention; skills in alternative and augmentative communication strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton key word signing); and assistance with early feeding issues.
Heather is also a Certified Hanen Group Leader.
Heather also holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and is therefore available to provide adult education programs in a variety of subjects related to Speech Pathology and Communication Disability.
Heather is now a Licensed 123 Magic™ and Emotion Coaching Practitioner and runs parenting courses 3 times per year in Sydney. For more information see the events page. |
